Distribution Program Manager

The Distribution Program Manager is responsible for developing and executing Hydro-Chem Systems’ overall distribution plan in North America. This position will acquire new chemical distributors & develop education and training tools to grow existing distributors, directly or through inside sales staff. They will assist the North American Business Development Manager with strategy and training.

QUARTERLY ROCKS

Each quarter the Distribution Program Manager, will establish, with the NA Business Development Manager, the specific results, improvements, or accomplishments required to support HCS and departmental objectives. These are expressed as ROCKS.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Follow processes and procedures according to the “HCS Way.
  • Responsible for the proper recording and retention of all distribution program documentation.
  • Research potential chemical distributors and create a strategy to acquire them as partners.
  • Independently contact and visit potential and current distributors.
  • Travel throughout North America as necessary to assess, acquire, grow, and train distributors.
  • Assemble, present, and negotiate distribution agreements and supporting documents required to become a HCS distributor.
  • Perform consistent and timely partner meetings to recap, assess, train, and strategize distributor business performance, virtually or in-person.
  • Create and administer distributor training programs to develop successful partnerships.
  • Focus on chemical distribution in alignment with the HCS Marketing Strategy.
  • Responsible for improvements to the HCS distribution program.
  • Work in tandem with sales personnel to maximize distributor interactions.
  • Assist NA Business Development Manager with strategy and training.
  • Utilize CRM for recording all forms of communication with prospects and customers.
  • Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives. The intent of this position description is to guide the activities of the Distribution Program Manager.     Requirements

    Educational Requirements
    Minimum GED required. Batchelor’s degree preferred. Position subject to current behavioral, cognitive and aptitude tests.

    Credentials: Valid driver’s license

    Technical Requirements 

    • ERP/CRM preferred, the use of social media marketing tools required. 

    Industry Requirements

    Minimum 2 years of consultative B2B sales and B2B cold calling, previous experience with chemical distributors preferred and working knowledge of pressure washing equipment.
