Our signature rinse arch; is our positively hydraulically driven Spinner Rinse Arch. This arch is also available in an oscillating model that changes the angle of impingement for a total CLEAN. The advantage we have over our competition is that we can have various angles of impingement without affecting the rotational speed. The rotational speed is precisely controlled with a separate hydraulic pack. Another rinse option is our Oscillating Blast Arch. This arch as see above impacts the front of the vehicle as the truck enters and then oscillates back and forth as you would if you were cleaning your truck with a pressure washer and as the vehicle passes,we pivot it to the rear to clean the back of the vehicle.
This system features eight centrifugally driven spinners that are manufactured specifically for Hydro-Chem Systems. These spinners are designed to reach into areas (like the wheels and undercarriage) to blast away the dirt and road grime. These spinners assembies are made of stainless steel so life expectancy is high. However if the union fails, replacement is easy and low cost. These spinners coupled with our unique Oscillating Blast Arch make a pair!
After the main rinse has done its job providing you CLEAN on the vehicle we want to make sure that we clean the rear of the vehicle so we have two options of a Rear Blast to eliminate the dirt off the rear of the vehicle as well.
Whether it be a fixed detergent manifold or an oscillating one that can CLEAN in the hard to reach areas, Hydro-Chem Systems has it. When designing our detergent arches many factor are taken account for such as; type of vehicle to be cleaned, is it flat sided or irregular shaped, are there any areas on the vehicle that may need higher concentration of detergent than others and can we apply stronger in just those areas? Where other manufacturers may apply higher concentration to the whole vehicles we try to apply it stronger just were it is needed so that you can save on your cost per wash and still achieve CLEAN. A good example of an area that a higher concentrations is needed is the back of the truck, we apply up to 4 times stronger detergent on the rear than the rest of the vehicle.
Another popular option is our foaming detergent arches. These arches in many cases apply less volume of detergent but give the effect that more is being applied by the foaming effect. We utilize a foaming metering system that gives us the ability to have total control on the volume and concentration of the detergent to ensure the cost per wash stays in line. To the right you can see where we use a foaming manifold as a bug soaker on the wind deflector to loosen the bugs prior to the rinse arch.
