Undercarriage Wash Systems

Some fleets focus on keeping trucks clean where it’s most visible. But shiny paint or pretty graphics don’t stop corrosion underneath.

Brake Lines Corrode Where You Can’t See

Salt attacks critical systems. That’s where rust begins.

Manual Washing Can’t Reach the Problem

Even pressure washing usually misses where corrosion hides.

Corrosion Costs Hide in “Maintenance”

Preventable failures of valves and connectors increase costs.

Trucks Retire Years Before They Should

Rust underneath forces early replacements.

Our undercarriage wash is a drive-over system that cleans the underside of a vehicle to remove salt, dirt, and corrosive buildup. All of our automated systems include an undercarriage wash and it is also available as a stand-alone option.

Undercarriage washing is important because salt and debris collect underneath vehicles and can contribute to corrosion and long-term damage.

A typical undercarriage wash takes about 30 seconds to 1 minute, depending on system configuration and vehicle length.

The undercarriage wash can be a standalone system that focuses only on cleaning the bottom of the vehicle. It can also be part of a full wash system that cleans the entire vehicle.

An undercarriage wash can be used for nearly any type of vehicle, from pickup trucks to double-grain haulers. This includes trucks, buses, municipal vehicles, plow trucks, and heavy equipment.

An undercarriage wash can use water alone or include detergents or corrosion inhibitors depending on the level of cleaning needed.

An undercarriage wash system typically requires minimal space and can often be installed in existing drive lanes or wash bays.

An undercarriage wash helps remove road salt and buildup during winter months, which supports better vehicle longevity.

An undercarriage wash does not replace a full vehicle wash, but it targets the most corrosion-prone area of the vehicle, providing great benefit for fleets with budget or space restrictions.
